“And Now a Word From Our Sponsor…”
Well, not really, just a hearty thanks from me (maybe Bill can chime in?) but yep, you heard it here first (if you aren’t friends with me on Facebook)…I have officially secured my first sponsor for my Team in Training event. Berger Geosciences, LLC has been kind enough to sponsor me for the Chevron Houston (Half) Marathon!I met Bill Berger (Jr.) when I was on the rig back in September for Shallow Hazards monitoring. We were able to bond during that time and share our love for volunteering and giving back to the community. This gave me the wonderful idea that Bill’s company, B-geo, may want to sponsor me to help support my cause to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Well he graciously accepted my offer and hopefully this is just the start a long-lasting friendship.
